" Hi Doug. I have not had radiotherapy. I am assuming though you mean radiation therapy. I have researched this and know others who have had it. There are times when it makes sense to use it however it needs to be carefully thought out and a second opinion is definitely recommended at a major cancer center. Radiation can have side effect of course and it can also crete problems that would make surgery or other treatments either impossible or less effective. I have not had it for my BC and I have not seen that it is the first line of treatment. Hope this helps you. Good luck Doug. "
