" Hi Linda, My name is Leanne. I do not know if I can give ''good advice'' but I wanted you to know I read your concerns and I wanted to say I am thinking of you, on this day of your catscan. to try and answer your question, but you may have already received the answers after going to do test today....as long as the procedure is an mri (with contrast) for example they should be able to determine if there are any masses, but most likely will not get the test results today. My husband has bladder cancer and he had no back discomfort keep in mind please he was diagnose 4.5 years ago and he is still here:), but everyone may present differently. So, has Infection been ruled out then? Your blood works, should point out by proteins etc..what the issue is..please try and relax(yea, i know how hard waiting can be) Mainly, jusy know I am here for moral support. Please keep in contact if you like k? "

" Hi Linda: Well first you have a genuine concern and it does need to get resolved. It could one of a number of things but the way you described it it likely is related to the bladder. I would get to a good urologist to get this checked out. A urologist can perform a simple painless cystouroscopy, basically inserting a flexibe (sometimes a straihgt tube into the bladder. It has a light, camera, etc. so the uro can get a food look around. Could be inflammation, an irritation, and cancer, but God willing it is not that, however many times bladder cancer goes undiagnosed under the assumption it is an infection. The doc can also do cytology tests using urine samples to see if if there are cells or blood in your urine. Now, there are good meds to deal with the burning, Detrol is one of them. There are others. Some people so well with Tylenol. But I think it is best if you see a good urologist and get this figured out. Good luckk to you. "
