Bisexuality Support Group

There's much love here, but it frightens me how much hatred there is out there--especially in educational institutions. A Purdue University professor has said he thinks people with AIDS should be allowed to die because AIDS research is "a waste of money". And he has fellow faculty members at Purdue who are defending his position, claiming he's right.

I do hope your doing better now...i am happy to say that i have usually been surounded by understanding people...and the few that werent that understanding never said anything to me. I dont know if it was because they were scared i was going to do something to get them back or if it was because of the majority being understanding of me...i guess ill never know....but i do hope your feeling better...and remember they may say mean things but try not to take it to heart. They just dont understand that you are being who you truely are.

I am actually going to a counselor Monday and when not being nervous about it.........lol...........I am looking forward to it.
I just hope he understands being bisexual is not a choice but the way I was born. I am not confused as far as my sexuality goes. I have been this way 32 years its not like....I am some young person any more.....trying to figure out who I am.
So yeah.....I dont need anyone telling me I need to choose being either gay or strait. Tried doing both and neither way worked for me. I love men and I love women and.......yeah. I hope he dont try and "fix" me.

Yeah being 'fixed' has been proven to be more damaging than helpful with people.
