Is anyone else interested in gender theory? Does anyone here identify as a gender other than male or female, or use other identifiers such as butch, femme, bear, etc.
Labels aren't everything, but I like how the term femme can bring people together. I identify as a femme, hence my name, specifically what a group of online friends and I like to call tomboy femme. My femme means I'm a good complement to masculine, I like to have my doors opened for me, I like to do nice things for my partner, I like butches, and my femme is in my walk and in my mannerisms. A lot of people think femme is more of a lesbian thing but it doesn't have to be. Anyone ever think about this? Posted on 10/31/09, 07:10 pm |

I am definitely in touch with my feminine side....sometimes I am kind of a flamer or whatever but then other times....expecially with a woman....I am very tough and masculine. So I guess I am a switch for sure.
And....yeah. Its all so fabulous honey! ;)

i admit. i do sometimes struggle with gender identity issues. but in the end, all i am looking for in my heart is a real soulmate and not temporary "love".
