Can anyone recommend any books/movies/etc. dealing with bisexuality? I've searched lists of books and it's hard to find anything.

" By "dealing with", do you mean considering bisexuality from an academic perspective, or books/movies/etc. with bisexual characters? I can recommend a few in either category--although it's easier to find the academic stuff. "

" I guess I should have looked again at the subject there, since it does say "Entertainment". For movies with bisexual characters, there's Threesome (1994) and Three of Hearts (1993). I don't think either one's great.

For books, you could try Getting Bi: voices of bisexuals around the world by Robyn Ochs and The bisexual's guide to the universe by Nicole Kristal. They're nonfiction but fun. And there's the novel Any Way The Wind Blows by E. Lynn Harris.

I've also previously mentioned the English poet Jeremy Reed. He's bisexual and it's a theme of some of his poetry. "

" Hey! One that I really like is "Bi Any Other Name - Biseuxal People speak Out" its from the 80's but has a alot of good and funny stories. Its made up of short stories, poems and essays about Bi women's and men's experiences. There are alot of books if you check online, its just some can be pretty, "dry"... but "Bi any other name" isn't. Enjoy :) "

" Here's a link to a bi women's film club that I know of. They have a great list of films that are relevant, with descriptions as well. There are both bi women and men in the films.

http://www.plateofstars.com/filmcl...

Of the ones listed I can say that I liked:

Gia
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Kissing Jessica Stein (one of my very fave bi movies for sure)
Chasing Amy
Imagine Me and You
Y Tu Mama Tambien
Shortbus
Kinsey
Vicky Cristina Barcelona
My Summer of Love

I would love to see Fire. I have heard the filmmaker is fabulous. "

" I liked Ann rices erotic books written as Ann Requlure (SP) Sleeping beauty and several of her other books. SOme go a bit into the BDSM world which I am not into exactly but the bi sexuality and sexuality in general is explored. I like how she explores each persons sexuality in her book as an individual path in life and that no one path is the correct one.... kinda deversified "
