I'm being genuine here, and please don't take anything I say as an insult - it's not meant to be that way. Have you had relationships with guys? How many? The reason I ask is that it would seem to me to be a youth problem, and not so much a female/female problem. Add to it the long distance relationship aspect, and you've got a recipe for disaster.

You're young. Live your life. Work on YOU... if that means work or school or personal achievements of some kind, hobbies, friends, involvement in the community... and let love come to you in whatever form. Forget the long distance stuff, and avoid shutting down a part of your sexuality because of bad past experiences. Be true to yourself... smile a lot, laugh a lot, dance (can you tell I watch "Ellen"?) and get involved with real people one on one, face to face.

You've got a lifetime ahead of you, and you haven't had enough years of experience quite yet (in my opinion) to formulate such definitive opinions on relationship. Take from an old lady of 43 - it'll get better!

it is true, you are young, like myself. but also, the fact that the two lesbian relationships that you've had have been long distance says something. normally, long-distance relationshps are somewhat doomed. so don't give up hope because when you actually get to touch a woman and have everything about being in a relationship, it'll be better. long-distance relationships are hard in general, so just remember that it'll be better

I dated a girl back in 9th grade. it was ok. didn't really have sex with a girl til september. and babe i'd rather date a girl than a guy any day of my life.
