Well, for starters, I am bi curious. I can't say I'm bi until I have a physical relationship with a girl.
I've had two girlfriends, both long distance. The first, was over in Bosnia, and was cheating on me with someone she claimed was her cousin
The second claimed that her dating another chick was like me having a boyfriend and being allowed to date another girl to help explore my sexuality. She was more concerned with the other girl and how she hurt her feelings when I talked to the other girl and told her me and the girlfriend were going out. She ended up cussing me out and telling me I shouldn't tell people we were dating. (I got my hint from that.)

I've sworn off relationships with girls for a while, maybe for the rest of my life and just live not knowing everything about myself
I just don't know what to do. I'm just tired of the drama from female-female relationships.

" I'm being genuine here, and please don't take anything I say as an insult - it's not meant to be that way. Have you had relationships with guys? How many? The reason I ask is that it would seem to me to be a youth problem, and not so much a female/female problem. Add to it the long distance relationship aspect, and you've got a recipe for disaster.

You're young. Live your life. Work on YOU... if that means work or school or personal achievements of some kind, hobbies, friends, involvement in the community... and let love come to you in whatever form. Forget the long distance stuff, and avoid shutting down a part of your sexuality because of bad past experiences. Be true to yourself... smile a lot, laugh a lot, dance (can you tell I watch "Ellen"?) and get involved with real people one on one, face to face.

You've got a lifetime ahead of you, and you haven't had enough years of experience quite yet (in my opinion) to formulate such definitive opinions on relationship. Take from an old lady of 43 - it'll get better! "

" Oh, my god, Brenda,
You just keep getting smarter, cooler, & cuter.
This is the best post I've read in weeks.
Take it to heart, Holly, remember:

" I'm flattered T! And that was a hilarious miscommunication there with Niceguy101 and the watermelon! Too funny - of course, I don't get the original quote because I never saw Buckaroo Banzai. "

" No T, I understand the meaning of the quote itself... I just don't get the quote in the context of the movie, so don't understand the watermelon thing either... know what I mean? "

" it is true, you are young, like myself. but also, the fact that the two lesbian relationships that you've had have been long distance says something. normally, long-distance relationshps are somewhat doomed. so don't give up hope because when you actually get to touch a woman and have everything about being in a relationship, it'll be better. long-distance relationships are hard in general, so just remember that it'll be better "

" I dated a girl back in 9th grade. it was ok. didn't really have sex with a girl til september. and babe i'd rather date a girl than a guy any day of my life. I mean fuck I don't really connect like that with men. So don't swear off women I'm about to swear off men except for sex. so don't swear em off for good.
