i hear ya babe. talking a mile a minute, thrappin your fingers on the desk, typing like a roadrunner on hot ashpalt... it's a bitch.
breath. breath real deep, real slow. repeat in your head it's gonna pass, it's gonna pass, it's gonna pass. A major help in my mania was the Hail Mary prayer. Didn't believe a lick in shit but the words, repition, totally helped me chill out. Hail Mary, full of grace, thy Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit from thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Please pray for us sinners, Now, and at the hour of our death, Amen. Certain sents help. Lavendar. Chamomile. Rubbing the muscle between your finger and thumb three times, then counter clock wise, over and over, switching between hands every few minutes, really really does help calm. Kinda like pressure points? Also, if you turn your hands so your pinkies are facing your... face lol and then lock hands together, so it's like you're holding your hands with your thumbs away from your face... (bare with me here). Then cross your legs at the ankle (standing) -- i think which ever opposite of your hands overlapping the other (left hand on outside, put right leg on outside). Last part, put your tongue to the roof of your mouth, hold it there. Switch every few minutes. I know that sounds confusing and retarded, but it really does work for me. I learned it in fourth grade -_- that teacher just loathed children, she really did, so she found out weird ass ways to calm them and we'd do that every single morning.
