hi everyone or anyone reading this!
wow idk where to start. i like very recently was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and i'm trying to educate myself about it and learn to cope with the illness itself. so far i'm getting by but am still having a lot of trouble with my moods. my manias arent all that bad but i get extremely irritable and will sometimes lash out at others (usually my parents). i'll throw little fits which sounds babyish but like just today i got so mad about the stupidest little thing and went in my basement and started punching and throwing things at the walls. and also during hypomania i get myself into a lot of trouble. i'll feel invincible and that i can get away and do anything which has led to a little trouble with police on a few occasion. (nothing major but definately troublesome). but it's not all bad. i become extremely creative which i enjoy and quite social! i want to be around everyone and just go to everything at once. but that's sometimes a problem too when it comes to school and stuff because i wont have motive to get my homework or schoolwork done. my lows are just major depression. i dont have much motivation, on occasion will resort to self injury, not eating much, issolation. i really dont like those at all. sooooo idk where to start on here or how to meet people. i need help coping with this and accepting it. be great if i could just start talking to someone! i have a few questions that i'd love to get advice or answers for! thank you everyone so much! message me or get in touch! You sound like you'll do awesome in coping and recovery from the things you can recover from (SI and such) You should join VALIDATE YOURSELF and Daily Positive Thoughts. You can find them on my profile I think. Definitely friend me! I'm too tired to go on right now lol but I try to get on here as often as I can w/o being on ALL the time 'cause you can abuse a good thing just as much as a bad LOL Hope your day was great!!!

Hey i am bipolar as well and i learned that by grasping that creativity you can channel your episodes and learn to cope by wirting or drawing. i hope this helps.
