Sometimes when I stand up I randomly get dizzy, or even when sitting down, like right now, I feel dizzy and light-headed. Could this be a side effect of my medication? I'm on Lexapro, Klonopin, Abilify, and Lamictal, but I've been on them for a while. Is it something I should bring up next time I see my GP or is it a side effect that won't just go away?

It may not be one med but a combo of meds. Have you tried googling the various combinations?

*sigh* Looks like it's a normal side effect of Abilify, but I thought it would have gone away by now. *sigh again* Luckily I'm going off of it.

Laura: I'm going to tell my pdoc on Thursday and my GP when I see her if it gets worse
jimgreg: Lamictal? Hmm...never heard that before but it wouldn't surprise me.

It could be a side effect of your meds. or you can have low blood pressure. I have extremely low blood pressure and get this dizziness when standing all the time.
