" No I keep gaining. I am afraid to weigh myself for fear that I've reached 200. It's a bitch to loose weight so much harder than my husband lets on......but then again his metabolism wasn't fucked up from taking BP meds so he doesn't have any room to talk. "

" Sometimes when I get manic I forget to eat so I lose weight & when I'm in my depressed phase I can't eat so I lose weight. Luckily my meds. don't have any affect on my weight. "

" I lost weight that I couldn't afford to lose. I am 5'7" and weighed 115 lbs. My GP took me off some of my meds. and wrote a note to my pdoc because she said that I was at an anorexic weight and then had to go to a bone density test and found out due to the weight loss, my hips lost mass and I now have to get Reclast every year (the IV bone strengthener). Doing Reclast is so much easier than taking Actonel or Boniva once a month because Reclast lasts a full year and I have to take 600 mg of calcium with vitaman D twice a day for the rest of my life..

I was also on Seroquel at the time. "

" Gained horribly on seroquel but with serious dieting lost 65 lbs. Now I have gained about 25 back, but we are switching to risperdal consta and am supposed to lose some. When I am exercising I do not gain but I really don't lose, it takes really careful dieting. Seroquel is a b-i-t-c-h. "

" Losing weight is one of my signs that I am going manic or depressed. My weight is already low, I can't afford to lose any. I just get too "busy" to eat when manic and lose all interest in anything, including food, when depressed. Most psych drugs have been weight neutral for me. "
