I was on it for a little over a year. It didn't work for me and just gave me really bad dry mouth the entire time. It worked slightly when combined with Effexor but other than that, did nothing for me. I've been on Zoloft too but Lexapro gave me WAY worse dry mouth and it never went away the whole time I was on it.

i thought it was an antideppressant my doctor said to take it in the morning. I wanted paxil since i was on it before but the doctor said if i missed one dose it could bring me really down (depressed) but it was a good med for me but she chose to put me on lexapro

you could ask the doctor, but most i've known say to find the time of day that works best for you.

i've been on 10 mgs of lexapro for about, well 4 weeks this coming wednesday. It has done nothing for me so far. I've had a slight headache but otherwise, nothing. I take it at night with a full glass of water and that has eliminated my dry mouth.

I don't remember having any side effects, but I've been on it for years. I'm on 20mg and it works well for me...I tried to cut down to 10mg a while ago and it made me more depressed. I take it in the morning.

I went manic on Lexapro......it was a bad drug for me.

I was just put on it too - I've just felt kinda tired and have had headaches. But Idk if the headaches are caused by the Lexapro though. But I'm pretty sure the tiredness is.

Lexapro made me suicidal. I attempted three times in one week before being taken off the drug.
