Seeing a lot of newbies on this board who don't suffer from BP but still think they have a right to be here. This makes me very uncomfortable.

" Maybe they know or live with someone who has bp & want to find out more about the illness. I think it's a good thing that non-bp people want to educate themselves & we can help them also. I don't mind anyone who comes on the boards so long as they are been helpful & not causing issues, in which case there is always the club leader or ignore button. "

" I am to think its a good thing as long as they come as friend and not as an enemy. Yes there is the FFB board but since most of us don't venture over there this is the true place to learn. If they make you uncomfortable there is always the ignore button and I by no means am saying this meanly. "

" Someonesb-totally agree with you. Most people aren't on the FFB so it makes sense to come on here. Most of the time people post that they aren't bp but need advice or they want to know more about it cos there husband has it etc. "

" I agree with the other posts. I have no problem with non-BPers posting here as long as they are respectful. If they live with or are close to someone with BP and we can help them better understand that person I say great. "

" Princess, what makes you uncomfortable about it? I dont dismiss your feelings because I know that others here feel the same way. However, I dont have issue with it unless people become argumentative or judgemental. I think it is important to treat others the way we want to be treated and accept that we can all help one another in many areas of our lives.
