of getting off of these meds.

Am I the only who keeps trying to get off their meds? Everytime I'm stable that's all I want... to get off the frigging pills.

" But maybe this time it'll be different. Maybe my brain chemistry has changed or maybe I'll be able to deal with it without the meds. I keep telling myself that... I know it never works out that way but I'm always hopeful. "

" I do the same thing. I was doing really well and told my Pdoc that I wanted to cut back on my meds and see if I would still do as well.
It didn't work out, though. I had a moderate setback, from which I am still recovering. "

" Tony, think about this: what is it that matters? being stable or being on meds? there is no stability wihtout meds - got that? you are BP - you are not getting over that - there is NO cure coming - there has never been a cure - there has never been a person who truly had BP that "recovered" from it - YOU ARE BP - THERFORE, IF YOU WANT TO BE STABLE, TAKE THE MEDS - its the only way. got it?
