Alright, I was up all night last night. Still up. Set off by school and my brain is going off in all different dizzying directions.
So, I was staring at the ceiling last night thinking about all the celebrities I think are bipolar. I concocted a huge list (now I can't remember them all). I became absolutely convinced Michael Jackson was bipolar. I mean he had the raging dad, he was abused himself, his couldn't sleep and wrote "Off the Wall' in the studio in the wee hours. I just wonder if he had of been properly diagnosed if he wouldn't have been happier and gotten some sleep. Right now Id' be happier if I could sleep. Thoughts? Posted on 11/04/09, 11:11 am |

l believe that he had psychological damage from years of bullying and intimidation, his emtional developmenet was put on hold from the trauma which is why he felt at ease around children rather than adults he never emotionlly finished his childhood for that he has my sympthy but with the best will in the world he was an adult who overstepped that fine line we all live by in his need to live life forever as a child with children.....nothing bp about that

I think he was a child prodigy and the press just tore him to bits and that affected him negative. I don't think he wasBP , I could be wrong.

Well I'm not talkin about his need to be around children, I'm talkin about the fact he couldn't sleep at night and was up all night sometimes - which is why he needed such high doses of drug to put him out.
I'm not convinced he was a child molester either! I've read all the transcripts, his behavior was far from 'normal' around kids, but his life wasn't 'normal' either. You CAN be BP with other personality disorders mixed in which I do think he had.

You can have bad insomnia and not be BP. I think he was a screwed up individual, but see no evidence that he was BP

I think jackson was a poor tortured soul.. i dont totally believe he was a child abuser. he was a child himself... stuck.
i have never thought about him being bp before... you make a good point with him writing his songs in the middle of the night. he also lived his life all or nothing... but he seemed a bit more over the top to me... think about it... never land. dancing on top of a car before his court appearance for child abuse. wearing a mask everywhere in the later years and making his kids wear masks. having kids sleep with him in bed and not thinking there is anything wrong with that.

lol don't run lundi we just don't sgree, don't see the signs for bp in him and no l don't believe he was a child molester either but as a p/t childminder l understnd how careful you have to be with a child from washing to sleeping he did walk a fine line with what could be percieved as wrong setting himself up for the allegations...he was a great musician with issues
