i work in a few hours til about midnight. today is the anniversary of my grandfathers death. so I really don't do shit on the 4th.

We celebrated yesterday for the most part. Today is a down and relaxing day for us. Yesterday, we went fishing, had a big BBQ with friends and family and then did our own awesome fireworks in the back of our field.

It was a long day so I am enjoying today.....all my kids are gone so hubby and I are watching a movie later and chillin...well, you know, haha.........anywho, I hope everyone has a great fourth. Hugs

Wish me luck, the girls love the jet ski. And yes babyoil, it is fun. I use to ride a motorcycle until a bad accident. The jet ski gives me that same sense of freedom. You can point it and go anywhere on water. It just doesn't steer like a wheeled vehicle.

Working... seems to be my usual for the holidays.

I am at work, but obviously I am not working -- I am screwing around on DS - and I will be able to see some fireworks outside.

My 'holiday' was officially yesterday (because the 4th fell on a weekend day)

Yesterday I went to my Dad's (an hour away) and watched Wimbledon tennis and Texas Rangers baseball...

Today I stopped halfway back at a Denny's and got a Grand Slam -- didn't even touch the pancakes, have them here in the fridge at work for later on...
