My whole life was ruined by being molested. I am now an ugly person because of it. I can't let anybody get close to me b/c I freak out.....I feel like I am decaying inside....I am poison....and I know I am going to be alone for the rest of my life. How horrible is that? To know you are *ruined* and *dirrty* and that nobody is ever going to be able to love you? I just want to give up....

i also was molested as a child...i understand how you feel. but by carrying that with me for the rest of my life means those bastards won.and i worked hard to get past it.i was molested by 3 different people..i had alot of work to do. one of them is a family member that i still have to face .because i havent told anyone in my family ..but i will be damned if they will make me an ugly person today because they are sick people...i am not ugly i didnt do anything wrong...

I didn't say that everyone who was molested was ugly, I said that *I* am ugly. And I don't care if she wins....I don't have any more fight left in me.....I have *nothing* so what is the point?

dont steal i didnt think you said that everyone who was molested was ugly. i just feel bad that you feel you are ugly and your whole life is ruined because you were molested..i for myself had to set myself free from that negative shit from being molested .i couldnt live with it anymore..it was ruining my life .so i let it go through therapy..now i live in peace...i just want you to live in peace also.. you are so young and you deserve peace...hugs ...marie

but if you are, your not alone.
i feel ugly everyday. nothing ever changes the feeling. ive gone through so many extreme physical transformations to run from my apperance, but i am still me, and i think the root is i just hate myself.

"Ugly" is a state of mind, a misconception that only WE have the power to change. We can choose to buy into the "LIE" and believe we are ugly or ruined for life, or we can choose to "CHANGE" the perception of ourselves.

Only WE are responsible for how we see ourselves. It isnt about what others do or say or believe. Just as in our Bipolar disorder, it is how WE work to find stability and be our best selves. It is all relevent to how WE choose to be, see, act, feel.

If we feel ugly, it is our own fault for percieving and projecting ugly onto ourselves.

Sunny, you know my heart aches for you, I have been exactly where you are. I was sexually abused for 7 years of my young life. It is painful but NOT a life sentence until you choose to make it so. There is always fight left, you are the only one that can find it. There is always an alternative option.......
