Must come to an end. My wife says she is leaving me. And she also says that she is talking both of my kids with her. I am soo sad right now. What can I do to prevent this??? What rights do I have as a disabled person who loves his children and can't live with out them?? I couldn't live without my kids, but she doesn't care how it will kill me to be without them. I am pondering acting first. KInd of like a first strike type of thing. I am at a loss for words right now, and I have no idea which way to turn. I have come to love you guys and I value any ideas that you might have. I know this is just a shortened version of todays events as I do not want to bad mouth her, but it seems that I am being forced to act first. My mind is going a thousand different ways at the same time. I know that the relationship is past saving, but that no longer is a concern to me. It's just that it seems as though she has been planning this for awhile now behind my back. It hurts to be lied to, but my real pain isn't about losing her....to be blunt I could care less. But to be without my kids....well I know that I would end up doing something rash, and I don't want that. I need them as much as they need me. They keep me grounded far better than any med I have ever taken. If it wasn't for them I would have been in the loney bin long ago. I know that this is a personal thing and none of you can really intervene in any way that would solve my problems, but I needed to get this out to someone, as my family has disowned me. I am okay right now...just a little in shock.

Please BREATHE first and do not act rashly. It is terrible what is happening to you, and you are in the shittiest situation a parent could possibly be in. My heart is aching for you- and I understand your impulse. It is perfectly natural. But let me remind you of a very unpleasant fact: Fathers are at a disadvantage in our society. Custody is almost always awarded to the mother. The courts are stacked against you. EVERYTHING you do will be held against you as evidence. If you take the kids now, that will make it very very very hard for you to have a fair arrangement later. I'm being serious here- unfortunately, as a man, you have the short end of the stick (especially as a man with a mental illness). You need to be on your best behavior here. I hate to have to say this- because of course your natural instinct is to take your kids and run. But I'm afraid that is the worst possible thing you could do here. Unfortunately, YOU are going to need to be the adult in this situation and YOU are going to need to be the rational one- if your wife is not. Because she has the legal advantage, no matter how irrational she is. I am so, so, sorry Mark.

This is soooo fucked up!!! I am within a few months of getting my disablity hearing, and now I have to leave. Does that mean I will have to start this whole fucking process over again??? She does the same shit everytime I try to get stable..I sick of it. I want her to leave...really!! She is the only woman that I have grown to absolutly fkg hate in all my life. Her leaving just makes me want to go outside and scream YYYYYIIIPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!! But when I tell you all that I couldn't live without my kids....I don't believe it's an overstated

Can you go to your court house and be granted temporary custody?
In NC where I live you can in 1 day. That way she can't take them from you. You just have to beat her to it. It may be worth checking in to. FAST Best of luck

MM My daughter is the reason I get threw alot of days. I do understand.
Just don't act irrational and give her anything against you. You make her look like the irrational one for wanting to yank the kids up and taking them from everything they've known for no reason. Act like she's insane,lol Whatever works.
