has anyone heard of this being prescribed for bipolar as opposed to an antidote for an antipsychotic?

did try, mostly comes up with stuff about it used for effects of anti psychotics.

sorry, my minds not working too well at the moment. how do you mean?
I no longer have secondary care from a psychiatrist as they were causing more problems than helping them, i am waiting to be seen by a new team. my family doctor who has a good knowledge of mental health and personal and family experience, said it might be worth trying procyclidine as she is aware of it being used for some bp patients (i cleared up that she meant for treatment of actual bp not for anti psych side affects) successfully but that it wasnt supposed to be for that use. so she said it might be worth a try. she wanted me to go on abilify but it could only be prescribed by a hospital so ill have to wait until i see this new team for that. I dont know, im just confused.

well, it could be being pioneered as a new treatment..there's always things coming up with such off-label uses..if she's heard good things you could give it a whirl, or ask for more info.
