I am on 10mg of it for 3 months and it works really well.

I was on zyprexa for a year...and before that year was up, I gained almost 100 pounds...I am being weined off it right now - and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Do you mean you've been on it for three months or you will be?

Tiff, other than the weight gain what did you dislike?

stuff was like candy to me, didn't do anything!

I have been taking it for 3 months and I have gained some weight, but not much.

I've given it to some patients. They complained of shakiness and twitching. It apparently sends some people into TD pretty quickly. So watch carefully for the symptoms. Tongue chewing, twitching, shaking, uncontrolled movements. Other than that stuff, it does appear to do it's job.
Good luck - I will personally NEVER be put on it d/t the above. Seen too many people with problems from it. Including major weight gain.
However, your doctor knows best. So it's between you two.

ive been on it a few months, it works really well but makes it very hard to get up in the morning. Really tires me out. The weight gain hasnt been too bad, but I was very cautious because when I was on risperdal I put on nearly 4 stone. Hope it works for you x

It worked really well for me, when I was manic, but I gained 30kg in a few weeks. I'm off it.

EEK Zyprexa is evil! I gained 100 lbs on it within a matter of months - which only made me more depressed. The weight gain has ruined my life in so many ways :(
