Morning, just thinking how i use my Ativan...I dont use medication for my depression or bipolar anymore because of severe adverse affects...but i started using ativan long time back....i never use more than one pill aday but not everyday either...and lately i use 1/2 pill somedays and it takes the edge off and i can function...WHERE does and how would i know if just that amount was addicted....DANG this could make me nervous..but i do better with that 1/2 pill when i use it....can this 1/2 pill somedays be addicting..??? I get so anxious its hard to function sometimes....alice

Yeah, it can be addicting, anything you use to take the edge off can be. Wish my doctor would give me something to take the edge off.
But then my bipolar is severe enough to require other meds. Good thing yours isn't that bad - Hugs

'They' say that all anxiety meds are addicting, personally i think it depends on the person...half a pill...i would say no.....

Yes, absolutely Ativan is addictive. It blesses my heart so that you are so cautious.
My mother wasn't so at all. Thank you for teaching others that you don't need what you are prescribed all the time. I grew up with a pill popping mother and I am the same way as you are now. A negative into a positive.
