So.. anyone else go looking for their paycheck in their purse freak out cause its not there.. have to wait to go home.. can't find it and freak.. then finally think to call the bank and find out.. you already deposited it..

I'm an organizational nightmare..

Nothing around me is an kind of order.. albeit clean enough.. far from locatable..

I need a better system than my purse is a temporary garbage bin.. anyone else??

" I have to keep track of everything or I forget where it is.. I consciously make sure I put things in the same place all the time..
My memory is so bad I'd be doing the same thing if I didn't.. It saves a lot of frustration..x "

" Last week my watch ran out of battery. So I was going to put it in my purse and take it to the jeweller's to get it fixed.

But I cleverly said, "No, it will get lost in there." So I put it in a safe place instead. That will mean probably 5 to 10 years to find it.

So purse must be safer, if much messier. I also seemed to have cleaned out my purse. Every time I pick it up, I wonder what is missing, it is so light. What a way to keep your personal things safe. "

" I haven't carried a purse in about 10 years or so.

I carry my wallet in my front, left pants pocket.

I compulsively tap my pocket all the time, making sure my wallet is in there. It's become second nature. I don't even know how often I do it.
It's such an unconscious habit that sometimes, when I'm standing in checkout lines, holding my wallet in my hand, I tap my pocket and freak out because it's empty ............ duhhhh.

What I've done more times than I can count is to sit down, start sorting a bunch of important papers into the appropriate piles and all of a sudden not be able to find something I know I had in my hands 5 minutes earlier.

I know it has to be there!!!!! I haven't moved from my spot!!!! And yet somehow, it's gone!!!!!

Yes, it always turns up. But sometimes, I have to go through every single piece of paper 3 times before I find it.

I often misplace things. Rarely lose them.

I'm sorry you went through the freak out, but am glad that it turned out that you had done what you were supposed to in the first place, LOL!!!!

(((((Hugs))))) "

" Oh no.

I am the supreme queen of disorganization.

I am part of the white liberal rummage culture. We know how to party........spoons in plastic bags in your purse......the computer desk is next to the real diningroom table to hold your daughter's moving boxes.......and last but not least, you can't find your scripts if someone showed them to you......months later you will find your script.

Yes indeed--if you want it lost, just give it to a member of any branch of my family.

It is guarunteed to be lost adn found by archeologists 1,000 years later.

My brother and my dad both have chains on their wallets and they don't live in crime laden cities. It is because Dr. S. and Chris will LOSE their wallets if they don't have them attatched. "
