" Marriage is a contract. a partnership. to gain credit n property & gain collega n career. it is not to be a fitcher.care assitant, bar tender who listens nor our Dr's. & espiaccly not to serve as sounding board.
userly 3rd marriage is for latter yrs soly as a companion.
granted most r married twice in thier life time because they do not know but accept abuse as being normal. & they are also codepenant.

we are to be independant & care for ourself & meet our own needs w/o use of mate.

I have family members who do work in medical field. I will not bother them w my ilness. I have a P-Dr & P- Nurse & Pharmist & service of in home care serbice. cleaning & lawn service. I even have a person who takes my outside waste can to & from curbside. all who I pay.
I have a companion who I love dearly & I will not use.

I have all the required sucurity that I need. I have home security system & a permit & community that I live in has its own partrol sercurity officers & guard gates.
I do not wish to be inposition to half to worry about my mate being iin postion to half to physically stand ground at my place because of me. "

" I've never been married, and I love my independence (I hate people being in my space), but I would also like to be married. Sometimes I hate going through life alone. "

" I was in an abusive marriage for many yrs, so now that I am alone I am happy and contented. I wouldn't count out marriage someday in the future but he would have to be a very wonderful person. "

" I'm lucky. I will be married 12 years this August to a wonderful man and we have been together for 14 years. We have been through a lot because of this illness, but we made it work. I don't think people realize marriage takes work-all the time. Even when everyone is healthy. I do know however, I would be ok single. I can provide for myself and would be ok. But I love being married. "
