cycling?

I'm not sure if I'm cycling or what. For the past several weeks my pharmacy has been trying to get my psych nurse practitioner to refill my Seroquel and she hasn't responded. Well, I finally ran out this past weekend. Ever since Sunday night I haven't been sleeping well. I got up at 2:30 Monday morning and stayed up until 10pm Monday night. Last night I went to bed at 9pm and got up this morning around 1:15. My mom and aunt both say that I'm smiling more and that I've been joking with them more than they've seen in quite some time. Monday I was like I was wired. In the morning I was depressed. (You can see that by my posts) That afternoon I was going crazy doing all sorts of things. I was cleaning, doing things my mom usually does, etc. Yesterday I was packing and repacking my suitcases for my trip to Ohio.

I see the nurse practitioner this morning at 9:20. I'm going to tell her about what's been going on and see about getting a different med for sleep and maybe increasing my lamitrogine.

" (((Mom)))~~

It can be very seductive to dance with mania. But the reality is you aren't getting proper rest. I think I heard somewhere that the most restorative part of sleep is between hours 6-8.

I'm glad you're seeing the nurse practitioner tomorrow. Be sure to ask if there is something you need to do to get your refills in a timely manner. It shouldn't take til you run out! "

" I'm sure that you're cycling, but almost certainly due to your discontinuing the seroquel abruptly. Hang on and things should be better soon. "

" I could be wrong but it seens like your P- Nurse could be held legally responceable if anything were to happen such as an injury &/or being arrested due to her/his actions or lack of them. I would report incident to my P-Dr. bet it won't happen again. "

" Cycling, or just missing meds will be right...

I don't know how long you've been on meds - but with all my deligence, I've stilled had issues. It hurts every time.

You need to call or go to nurse before you run out - you need a few days, before to get on the phone LOUD, or show up. I like the pharmist to do it, but when I don't have it - I Start the Process....

Every time you go off your meds, you go into withdraw, one minutes your fine, the next your body notices - it can be days before you get your meds- later, when you start - your frickn introducing again, and might take a while to level out.....

I fight hard to not miss them! Then its low maintenance taking them , along with Vitamin C and B etc. Missing makes a mess...

Glad your going tomorrow!!!!!!!! "

" I saw the nurse practitioner yesterday. I asked to stay off the Seroquel and asked to change it to something else and she did change it. I told her that the pharmacy had been trying to get my Seroquel refilled for several weeks. She said that she gets so many pharmacy requests that she IGNORES them. What good does it do for her patients if she ignores them? It definitely upset/frustrated me when she said that.

I took my new med last night at 6 and I was out like a light by 7. I guess I'll have to take it a little later. That could have been the reason or that I had gotten up so early (1:30) that I fell asleep from pure exhaustion. However, I am up again at 1:30. I think I have a good reason this morning. I changed my trip plans from leaving next Tuesday to leaving this afternoon. I'm pretty excited. "
