It's nothing to do with popularity. We are not all seeing and as we are constantly aware the community does not appreciate over zealous reporting, closure of threads etc.

I don't read all the posts - if you feel someone has over stepped the line you can report it as abuse directly (which is what all the communities without CLs do) or you can report it via a CL - but if you do so please be specific, ie a link to the thread and the # of the replies.

You are by no means alone!!!
As long as I've been on this board (and it's the same things on almost all the boards I'm on or have been on), there are always those who feel like they are being kind of 'not let in' and that they do not get the full benefits that they are supposed to be able to find here!!!

When it comes to cliques, I do understand why it can be perceived as though they exist. I'm not totally sure that there AREN'T any cliques, but I don't think that there are.

There are members who, over time, become pretty good friends with other members, and it shows in their posts. They talk to each other within the posts and sometimes make remarks that not all members will understand, because they have not been privy to all the information needed in order to do so.
Or they haven't been here long enough to understand references made to things that happened before they came here.

Some people feel that they are not being included when that happens. Not being included in a way that they SHOULD be included.
But really, when it happens, to the member making such a remark, it is just commenting on something that has meaning to them and is based on their experience here and there is no thought of 'Some people won't get this, but screw them.'

If you stick around long enough, you may very well find that some newbie will come along, make the same observation that you are doing here, and guess what?
YOU will be one of the ones they are talking about!!!!

I also occasionally hear the complaint that there are special, more lenient rules for certain people.
I don't think I see much, if any of that.
Once in a while, I will see something that I consider 'horrible' on the board and I will climb onto my high horse and complain bitterly about it!!!
The times I have done that, I would then get a message from a CL, telling me that things go on behind the scenes and that what I see on the board isn't the whole story.

I'm also very sorry that you don't feel you're getting the help you need, here!!!! I want everyone here to get any and all support and help that they need!!!
Once in a while, no one with any input is around when a post is made and it gets shoved out of sight before getting any answers.
That's unfortunate, but it DOES happen!!
If that happens to you, bump it back up and see if it does better!!

I don't know if I've seen ALL the posts you've made, but I've seen some and it seemed to me like you were getting quality replies and many people sharing their hopes that it will turn out well for you!! The same support and help that any of us receive!!!

We all throw our opinions up here. People either like them, don't like them, don't care one way or the other about them, take offense to them, whatever.
Sometimes, people will comment on what you've said. Many times they don't.
All you know is that you made a comment. You don't even know if anyone has read it, once you post it, LOLOL!!! There's no way to know!!!

For some people, it can take a long time before they feel like they fit in.
Other people adapt more quickly.
I hope you will stick around!!!
I'd like to think that, with time, you won't feel the same way about this place as you do know, and that you will like it much better!!!

I just wish some people wouldn't use the board as a chat feature. If people are "talking" among themselves and using jokes that have nothing to do with the original topic, that's fine! There are other avenues, like hugs and messages. Have a blast...on your own.

Some folks think they are funnier than they really are and apparently think we all want to have to sift through the bullshit. Yes, I'm kind of pissed about this.

No, of course not. Nor should they try to squelch anyone else's niceness, humor, pissedness, or informing. That is pretty much what this post is about.

We each have the right to be ourselves and believe what we believe without censorship for someone with an opposing view.

We are supposed to be adults here. We can have differing ideas without disrespect.

there's always something. Not to say whatever is bothering you isn't valid..

personally I just don't like it when it's dead here. at least there's activity currently
