I take 8 different meds.

To tell the truth, I do take dilamtin. skelaxin Plus pain meds. I remembe when my brother was alive. He yelled saying I took to many pills.

Years ago when I was taking large amounts of haldol and thorazine (anti-depressants)it was like I could barely move.

Those days are long gone but I remember and take my current meds gladly.

I do okay on the stuff I'm on now, but Paxil rendered me totally void of all feelings, including my sex drive. Wasn't happy, wasn't sad, wasn't anything!! And that was somehow worse than even feeling bad!!

Malice1, you take 8 different meds. If you don't mind me asking are they all for mental health? What are they?

I take 5 psych meds and one stomach meds. Pepcid, Lithium, Celexa, Nortripalene, Xanax and Trazodone.

I want to thank everyone of you for you insight on bi polar. I have never had any one to talk to about it or that understands the emptyness or the crazyiness that goess with this. I feel all alone most of the time. Thanks

Reply 5-simon cros: I take the following Glucovance, neurontin, cymbalta, lithium, topamax, synthroit, dilamtin, skelaxin, morphine, oxycodine. 3 are for pain and mucles 3 are for mental health one is for nerve and mucle pain, one is for seizors and the rest for whatever.
