I don't know what I need!!

All I know is that my anxiety has become so intense that my mind doesn't work when I'm in the middle of the attacks. I take Xanax, but it just makes me sleepy, it doesn't take away the sudden sense of panic. I really don't know what to do. I take Abilify, Zoloft, Lamectil and wellbutrin. I'm wired and tired at the same time when i'm on Xanax.

What should I do? Can anyone relate? I really need some understanding of the intensity of my panic./anxiety.But things aren't better et.

" Someone posted this here before and I tried it with my daughter, it helped. It takes a little practice, but seems worth the effort. http://panicdisorder.about.com/od/...

There's a how to link at the bottom of the initial page.

Hope this helps. "

" If you are having panic attacks, try keeping some salt water taffy in your purse. The chemical imbalance that causes the attack can be satisfied within a few seconds by chewing on the taffy. "

" i was on wellbutrin and It was not a good combination for me. kinda how u described. Wired but tired. I was also taking xanax at the time.
I no longer take either of those meds.
I take lithium and klonopin which work a better for me. but still have it's downfalls.
if u can... try to sleep! I love sleep. but i can't get enough b/c i have kids.

If not, talk to your dr's about getting into some support groups and reaching out and making local friends who have similar problems. When i was hospitalized I was referred to a local support group where i've made some amazing friends and I've leaned on them for alot of things. Infact I called on last night b/c my anxiety was through the roof!
I hope you start to feel a little bit better and find some peace "

" The wellbutrin could be contributing to your anxiety. I had to to off it for that reason. "

" The Wellbutrin could be the cause, but I've been taking it for a long time and these symptoms just started two weeks ago. I've gone on a healthy diet, I wonder if that has something to do with it. I tremble on the inside when I lay down and close my eyes. It's pretty scary and causes the panic. I may start another thread about it, I'm pretty desperate for an answer. "
