Has anyone taken this. I think it was given to me to stop the shaking from Lithium but instead I shake worse, plus I walk like drunk person and I have to think really hard what i want to say and it sometimes comes out gibberish. I forget what I was talking about after that happens. The lower half of my body feels like led. I will be talking to the dr tomorrow (Friday)abuot this. Oh my family and friends say I talk so fast they can barely understand me. But they can tell when the gibberish starts. Happens whenever I talk. I keep seeing things that aren't there as well.
Thanks,
Jerrilee

" i was given benztropine for akathesia from my abilify to stop the restlessness. Didnt do much tho. I didnt know it was given for lithium tremor. When i was on lithium i was given propranolol which is a beta blocker and slows down the heart i think. But it works a treat for the tremors and doesnt affect you in a way like you describe the bentropine is doing. Maybe you should ask about it. (also trade named Inderal) "
