Before all this started ( feeling sickly ,dizzy ,weak, pain in my stomach vomiting ect. ) my husband and I went out for dinner to a restaurant.I've orderd grilled chicken with reis and salad.I eat only half of the reis because it tastet just awful and I eat only a little bit of the salad because it really had a bad taste. My husband had grilled fish and no salad.I think about 1-2 days late I got really sick ,first I thought it was the medication (percocet ) what my doctor had prescribed me for my pain that I have in my legs because of all the fluid retention.
besides all the dizzienes, weakness, nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, and weakness I now have a low grade fever and pain in my back. It's more on my both side to the right side and to the left side.I do try to drink lots of fluid......
I think I have to go to the ER when my husband comes home from work just to be on the safe side.I just feel very awful.

" Food poisoning usually happens 2-6 hrs after eating food, but it could also happen a few days later. I don't think it would be a bad idea to get it checked out. "

" Mine happened the next day. I got Salmonella from chicken that hadn't been washed. A sure sign of food poisoning: You can't hold your head up. Your head just flops on your shoulders and you feel very, very drunk.
Nevertheless, it can't hurt to see a doc about it. If you stopped vomiting & diarrhea...then most of it is prob. gone from your system. "

" hopeful, as I said in the other thread that you had up about this, you really should go to the doc for this and because of the severity, and the increased symptoms, I would go to the E.R. where they can order bloodwork and any other testing that they feel necessarry. "

" Yes, if you go to the ER they will put an IV in you to get some fluids in you. You sound more like you have a virus of some sort and are now dehydrated. That will cause more vomiting and going to the bathroom. Also dehydration causes terrible muscle and joint aches. "
