I can't take this pain any longer. I have tried to wait and see if it gets any better but i only seem to be getting worse. How long do I really have to live like this? My friends have all been trying to help and I really do appreciate it but I still haven't changed my mind. I have started cutting again but no one in my house knows it yet. The cutting helps me feel better. I really did try to stop...

I am on a diet with hubby, we are both diabetics, And we are doing our best to stick to the diet. But here's the positive, WE JOINED THE YMCA, 2 weeks ago, and go at least 3 X's a week. We are starting off slow, but will rev it up next month. So, until then, your friend, Kitten

About 2 weeks had gone by, the reports of the incident were still on my desk and as much as I tried looking through a few new reports to get my mind off of it I just couldn’t ignore this one in particular.
The autopsy had come back for the poor fellow trapped in the truck, he had died of terminal dehydration and the coroner’s notes also said he was incredibly malnourished and underwei...

It was dusk, the sun was going down, and the vast, beautiful plains were turning a dark yellowish color more and more as the light slowly slinked down the horizon.
The Reservation was quiet, peaceful like a pool of water untouched by either man or the wind and it was just like any other dusk that the Indians had seen more times than to count.
However…there goes around a folktale of somethi...

I had gone into town to post some flyers as well as give my card to a few cashiers, clerks, and managers around the local convenience stores as well as the town post office and bank. I was sure that someone would come forward especially after the case had made a considerable mention in the newspaper, unfortunately no one had come forward with any kind of real information other than a possible sus...

I was not sure if the old man was giving me a clue to a suspect or was just telling some story just so I would listen to him talk the day away. However…his face was not the carefree one when I had walked into the room but rather a more concerned one with a hint of fear in it. I decided to give his word a chance, so I asked….
“Sir, what is a “Gee Chee”?”
The o...

It began some 10 years back, it was a slow, quiet noon day in the office when suddenly the phone rang and burst me out of my daydream. I picked it up.
“Hello?” I said.
“John.” The voice responded “It’s Andrew, earlier someone reported a truck left near some trees on the gravel road heading west. I just found it.”
“I’m on my way.” I said...

The emergency lights were dim but right now they were the only things guiding me through this now cluttered station, I did not stop moving even jumping over a desk that had been in my way.
I could hear those heavy footsteps moving again, that creature of shadow had made it’s move once more, this time I had no place to hide, this thing would find me once more as long as I remained in this bu...

Why do dreams have to die?
What once was a burning pyre is now a smoldering ember
Fizzling out until all memory of it is gone
I'm tired of my dreams dying
Tired of them being choked out by indecision, by my poisonous mind
That murders all innocence, all rational thought
Only to replace it with the madness, the irrationality of a mind bent on self destruction
Of self persecution, of vile torment

It is Friday night and I feel depression approaching. Like an unwelcome wave it approaches to envelope me once again. The aches of being down creep out of my joints and the thought of just going to bed is not even appealing. The thought of another night with an uncertain morning. Another night of being in pain and the darkness of night. An overcast day has end...

I had never seen anything like this, I was not sure what I was even looking at. It was as if I was having that nightmare all over again and couldn’t wake up, my eyes didn’t once move away.
It stood tall; had pitch black skin so dark that it was almost as if it fused with the night, it had a piercing gaze of two red eyes, a pair of gleaming fangs, and claws with the blood of the deputy...

I got out of the car to get a closer look, it was a doe…from what I could make out of furry, mangled mess.
It looked as if a semi had ran it right down, on the other hand it looks as if a bear got hold of it and mauled it badly…I honestly couldn’t make out the difference between either scenario here.
Upon further inspection this deer wasn’t simply ran down, there were in...

I already posted this in the forum, but wanted it here for my own records as well:
Depression Robbed Me…. 3/14/13
Depression robbed me of my dignity
Depression robbed me of my pride
Depression knew just where to find me
When I tried so hard to hide
This disease has taken away my beauty
This disease has taken away my drive
This disease would not leave me
No matter how hard I prayed ...

Carry on!
So you found another girl?
So I've got to lose for your thrill?
You'd rather listen to your head than your heart?
You do what you do.
While I run out of reasons to stay avalible for you.
Carry on.
You don't want it?
Then you don't deserve it.
I fought for you.
You won't fight for me?
So carry on.

You hid making fun of my illness.
I always sat around waiting for yo...
