Anyone heard of / seen / taken / know anything about this drug?
My pdoc just took me off risperidone because it's doing nothing for me, and is starting me on this one. This one is one my pharmacist has to order in ... quite disturbing considering I go to a major pharmacy!! I can't find a lot of info on google so I was hoping someone here has been on it and could tell me some things :-) Posted on 11/05/09, 04:11 am |

I am currently taking this medication. It is called geodon in the US and there is information under that name online.
I don't have many side effects from it. The first 2 weeks it made me sleepy, but now I am restless and have little appetite. I have lost some weight and notice I do not snack as much anymore. My moods are elevated and it lifted me out of my depression. I have lots of energy and really like this medication. It has not made me manic. I enjoy taking this med and really notice when I haven't taken it. Hope this helps
