I was wondering if anyone has lowered their dose of Lamictal on their own. I was on 300 and then upped to 400 2 weeks ago and don't get to see the pdoc for a month and if anything I feel worse, especially the hand tremors. I did read that Lamictal can give you tremors and I already have them from Lithium. Thank you Naomi

im on lamictal too, just uped my dose to 50mg, even then i had terrible shales, so they prescibed me a anti side effect drug. working well for me, but only been 3 weeks and best thing is ive LOST weight finally

can you talk to your doc on the phone? if i have any issues between visits i can call my pdocs nurse and she talks to him for me

I would get in touch with my PDOC and discuss the side effects. Usually, s/he will give you advice or move up your appointment.

My moods have actually been great on the higer dosage, but I jumped up from 200 to 400. Not sure that was a great decison to make on my own...I think it's probably best to call your doctor and see what options are available to you.

i was on 150mg..taken in halves twice a day.. and if anything it made me more irritable than not takin it and she added 100 mg of buspar twice a day to this and did no good..
