So i just started 5 mg of abilify to help with irritation, but i don't know if i should take it at night or in the morning. i took it in the morning and when i took my parnate later i was unbelievably tired, parnate alone doesn't usually make me that tired. so i tried taking it at night with my trazodone and i didn't sleep well. i took it this morning, but i'm still confused. does anyone else take abilify, when do you take it?

I'm on 15mg of abilify. I take mine in the morning, it did make me very tired at first. Took me about a week to get used to it.
Good luck getting it figured out.

when I first started taking it it made me extremely tired for almost 3 weeks. Everyone is different though. I take mine in the morning and once I got used to it, it doesn't bother me at all now.

mine has just been increased to 20mg and my shrink told me to take it in the morning.. 10mg doesn't make me tired so fingers crossed this dose does not either

I was on 30mg (seems like a huge dose compared to everyone else) and I always took it at night. My problem with is was financial. It became too expensive for me to use. Other than that, I had good results with it.

I take 20mg Abilify and always take it in the morning. It tends to wire me a little bit so night time is out of the question.

I've had similar experiences as other people that have posted. I started out on 5 or 10mg in the morning and it made me tired all day so they switched me to night. But I feel like it wouldn't affect my sleep one way or the other at this point considering my body is probably used to it.

I'm on 30 mg and take it in the morning. I do notice that it makes me sleepy though.
