MAYBE I'M JUST BEING PARANOID BUT, EVER SINCE I STARTED TAKING SEREQUIL I AM GETTING BIGGER AND BIGGER. MY WEIGHT IS ONE OF THE THINGS THAT I GET NERVOUS AND OBSESSIVE ABOUT. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME EFFECTS W THIS MED. OR DO YOU KNOW OF A MED THAT DOESNT HAVE THE SAME EFFECT?

" hi, yes, it is associated with weight gain, many are. Lamotrigine is weight neutral and other meds may be weight neutral for you. "

" I too am obsessive about weight and am on Seroquel. I believe I've gained a little weight. It is my understanding most of these drugs will cause weight gain. Balance it off by eating right and exercising. It could be another med you are on causing weight gain. Or ask your doc for a weight neutral med. "

" I've only gained weight on Lexapro. Ew.

But Lamictal is weight neutral...I know by experience. Topamax made me lose tons of weight. "

" I REFUSE to take ANYTHING that will make me gain weight.
Maybe you should research the meds your taking :)
Thats what I do. I decided to try and do this without meds. Im sick of worrying whether or not its a weight gainer. "
