I take Lexapro and I love it. It helps with my daytime anxiety. I don't take it with anything else you're taking. I don't have any side effects, either.

what about weight? Is it weight gain, loss, or neutral?

Lexapro is supposed to be weight neutral. I have gained some weight recently, but I blame Geodon b/c I just restarted taking it and the last time I took it I battled weight gain.

Maybe some other people can share their experiences with the weight issue.

I take Lexapro and Topamax, who cares about weight!!! its all about mind..... if your mind is well the weight will be ok just don't worry or stress obout food.
I started on Lexapro and it was great Love it funny I was put on Topamax for migraine and it has been a godsent for the BP as well
Love it as well in a max dose it suppose to take away your appetite but I don't have one any way as my stomach dosen't work as it should..............

i gained weight like crazy while trying to activily diet, felt hungry all the time too, I take prozac with the lamictal now, no weight issue

Lexpro made me sleepy and gain weight. I couldn't stop eating! It also made me manic and had mixed states. But Im bipolar so I have no idea what it would do for depression. I guess it depends on why you are on it in the first place?
