You may want to ask on the main board - you would probably have more luck over there. I don't take it - I take Lamictal and Topamax for mood stabilizers.

i taking tegretol... its been alrite. i dont really notice anything but some side effects i have gained a few pounds and just feel like blah. but icve added lamictal onto the mix and i hope it does some good. but it took a month for me at least to get over the side effects of tegretol , once u get past that its pretty good. but then again everyones different alot of people i know say its fantastic

IT works for me for the moods, but yes I feel blah too. And sooo drowsy, pdoc upped my dosage, so that might be it.

i should probably change that response. .. i am slowly tapering off tegretol now and trying something else. i cant take it the side effects are horrible and i just dont feel right. hope you ahve better luck with it then me.!
