Hi anyone take LUNESTA / ZOPICLONE same thing different names. I just wondered how long you've been on it and if it still works okay. I thought it was a short term solution but I've been on it months now.

" i have taken it the last three nights, first time only took half and it didn't do anything. the next night i got a good night sleep and last night it didn't work so well. i am going to take it until sunday night because i have an ECT on monday and am not supposed to take one. we will see how that nights sleep goes because kidlet goes back to school next week and i don't want to be passed out as she gets ready for school and i will be too drugged out to drive her to the bus stop. " Hi Jamieson, so far I haven't found that it leaves me feeling hung over, in fact I would say that on waking up I feel quite clear headed. "

" hello fella, mans right. it dont leave you on a comedown. dont know about short term though. i ve been on it for about two years. what i was told was there is no point abusing it because it only works in yiur system for a couple of hours. and it only seems to quiet your head enuff to let you get to sleep. you will still wake up early.keep on. " Hey there, I use Zopiclone too, not every night but maybe every second or third night. Sometimes a couple nites in a row.. I take one whole tablet. usually works every time and leaves me with a good nite sleep. But in saying tha sometimes i have taken two cause am still wide awake at all hours. When I was taking it every night i felt really drowsey and hang over, but every now and then i dont at all. "

" I took it for months and it worked for a long time. I liked it better than Ambien which caused me to have really weird nightmares and feel sluggish in the morning. "

" Zopiclone gave me amnesia and rebound insomnia, which I wasn't very thankful for. It's meant to be short term yeah - it's an addictive little bugger.
Oh God - and the aftertaste! Awful! "
