My psychiatrist put me on Invega. He said it was a newer medicine, but does anyone else have any experience with it? He said he's going to add Lemictal next week.

I'm on it right now and it seems to be working pretty well. I think it's just the newer version of risperdal. I haven't had any side effects, but it didn't start working until they put me on the 9mg dose. I wish you good luck with it.

What I know about it is that it looks like Risperdal in terms of formula, it is a time released pill, and its generic is called paliperidone. I don't know, I may be on it in a few years. Until then, I will just keep reading until I've got all the facts about it memorized.
