I'll be forty in December. I've had one dream. That is to be an actress. I'm not even wanting like an acting part, just sitting in the background somewhere so I can have my fifteen seconds of fame. I know it's fifteen minutes, but I'm trying to be realistic. Fifteen second would be fine.

I think that's a fine dream, and you're young enough to realize it.
(I'm 60 and age is relative!) 15 seconds of fame is probably more than most of us will get.

wanting to be an extra is a great dream try googling how, its usually done through agents so find a few agencies and take it from there...good luck to you.
And don't take it personally if you are turned down a few times its part of showbiz

If you lived anywhere near here, I would so ask you to be in my amateur films. It's SO hard to find people willing to be filmed! You even mention the camera and people scatter! And I'm not even the one that did it to them! Their stepdads and stuff got to 'em years ago and now they all get triggered at the mere mention of a being on film. I don't push people to sit for pictures or filming because I know what it's like.
It would be so wonderful to have a willing subject besides my cat for a change! She really photogenic but damn. Every time I try to give her a speaking role she forgets her line.
