I'm watching a show where the couple is looking for a house to renovate.
Wow! I wish I had that ability. We bought a house that had a few items to fix up. I have found this to be extremely painful. We have done nothing but make a mess. I am so frustrated. I just want someone to come in and correct/change/bulldoze everything we have done. I just saw the end of the show. They did an amazing job. How did they know what to do? I guess it's a gift. The house looked amazing. I am in over my head without a paddle. I have bought every magazine/book I can find. I stink at this. If we ever buy another home, it will be one where I even like the color of the paint. Did I mention I'm living in a renovation nightmare? SCREAM!!! awww lol l love renovating shows too it is an area l'm interested in perhaps l could give you some tips...
what type of house are you in and do you want to keep the house style or change it?

I'm in a brick cap cod. I want to re-do the kitchen and bathroom.
My basement has heating and air so I could do something with it. It has a second kitchen, but I'd rather have a bathroom. With homes the prices they are I wish I could just start over in a house that is exactly the way I want it already. T

Heck, honey, we dont know exactly what to do.....my husband and a partner buy, rent or renovate and resell....it isnt easy by any means and it takes some initial capital investment. The initial loan includes the renovation costs.
We learned by asking, reading, researching and lots of mistakes. Trust me, every penny made is earned and more. Alot of heartache and headache. Best of luck to you sweetie. Hugs
