and it said this....

Context - Ace of Cups

Have you had a rising of emotions for a particular love lately? If not it is on the way! This may be a new love relationship with a person or it could be a new interest, hobby, or friendship. Any way you look at it, it is all good! Enjoy the feeling of excitement from within!
Focus - Sage 5

The Sage is the Wise One and the one to ask for advice. His appearance means that he is there to assist you in your endeavors and he will be there to patiently guide and teach along the way. He may also represent a spiritual advisor or friend or may signify that now is a time for prayer and that the prayers will be heard.
Outcome - Devil 15

The Devils card symbolizes some negative place. You are in some sort of uncomfortable situation that you need to free yourself of. It may represent bad habits that need to be dropped such as greed, being blind to truths, etc. It urges a cleansing of the negative karma.

Have you ever experienced a reading or had another sort of psychic encounter that was eerily accurate? I see the sage as either my pdoc or tdoc. I'm seeing both this week.

" The person used a deck I'd never heard of.

Krysia's Tarot Deck.

My personal deck is the spiral tarot. I also like the Tarot of the Cat People. "

" The only deck I have experience with is The Thoth Deck created by Aleister Crowley and of course the standard RIder-Waite Deck. Crowley's Book of Thoth is probably the most in depth and interesting study of the tarot I have ever read. I'm curious to know how your deck explains the Death card? "

" In the spiral, death symbolizes change, a change that basically rocks your world. It's not as scary as the Tower. It is the end of one chapter of life and the beginning of another. The change cannot be avoided and is inevitable.

The last time I got death, it was the end of a 5 year relationship and I was rapid cycling. I found me again. "

" That's pretty much on par with the RIder-Waite interpretation for it "an evolutionary change or transformation". Interesting stuff, which layout do you use? "

" Mainly the Celtic Cross layout. For a shorter reading, I'll use a 3 card spread like the one above. "

" In the Book of Thoth Crowley specifies a technique of reading which involves every single card in the deck besides the significator obviously. I've seen it done and interpreted with precision, was quite interesting. If i can find the link for how to lay out the spread I will post it here. It's been awhile. I used to use the Celtic Cross as that seems to be the best way to do it IMO. Do you journal your spreads and interpretations? I used to find this helpful. "

" Yes, I do. I haven't read myself in a while and have had others read my cards. I should go back to doing my own readings as well as readings for others. "

" I don't know much about tarot cards, never really got into them, but as for surprisingly accurate psychic encounters, well I'm your girl :) It runs in my family.
I've got some personal experiences that still send chills up people's spines... "
