I want to die but I don't want to go to the hospital. I am a danger to myself and I know it. I also would rather die than face work again. I keep thinking of plans to do it so that my life insurance will pay out. My husband doesn't need me. I make his life miserable.

Most of the time a suicide will not pay out any life insurance. You prob. already know that though.

I do which is why I was planning to make it look like an accident, no suicide note. They can't prove a car accident is suicide.

It sounds like the hospital will be the safest place for you right now, even though you're not too keen on going. Your husband would miss you. That's just the depression talking. Is your husband home with you right now? Can you call a friend to come over? What about calling the crisis line?

I may call the 24x7 emergency line at my pdoc's office when hubby gets home. I don't want to go to the hospital alone.
If I go to the hospital, I'm going to lose my job. I couldn't face my boss. They will admit me. How do I explain that? Sorry, went crazy again. Wanted to die so I was committed. I don't really think he or the HR department would understand.

Why would you risk hurting someone else RK? I have often thought of turning in front of a semi or something like but I don't want anyone else to get hurt. I have a pretty good idea of how you are feeling right now and I have to say confide in your husband how you are feeling so he can help you get the help you need right now.
Nobody here wants to see you leave RK, you are part of the DS family and we need you around. Please consider my suggestion sweetheart.

Sometimes the hospital is the best place to be, especially if you are feeling suicidal.
