I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE!

I can't take much more of this. I have been rapidly cycling between moods for the past week. One minute I am fine and dandy the next I am crying and saying I don't know how much more of this I can take. I just don't know what to do. I was put on a new antidepressant last week and was fine. I was manic so I guess I wasn't fine but i was happy and now I am up and down and I don't know where I will end up. So I called my pdoc today and he took me off one of the two antidepressants I am on. So maybe that will help. But what do I do? I just have this thought that I can't live with bipolar it is too stressful and too much work. Any suggestions?

" Hopefully once the ad gets out of your system you will stop cycling. Maybe try a nice warm bath and listen to relaxing music? "

" Im sorry you are struggling.
Anti-depressants have brought on mixed manic episodes for me in the past. Do you think it's possible the anti-depressant could be causing your rapid cycling to be as extreme as it is?
I'm not saying go off your medication, I dont want you to crash.
Perhaps ask you pdoc about the possibility.
Hugs!!! Hope you are feeling better soon Kab.
Take Care "

" I have read where bp's should stay away from antidepressents due to it will put them in mania. Maybe that is a side effect because I am not a doctor.

I feel that I am tired of dealing with my mental ups and downs, the meds, my familys reaction to my meds and the financial cost it is taking on my family. I have spoken with my doctor so he know where I stand and so far the only thing I have come up with is to not give bp a name anymore, no more power, and live my life fully everyday.

Let's see how that works! Come up with any ideas let me know "

" I also have read that anti-depressants can bring on mania in BP's. I would definitely talk to a doc about this. My pdoc won't prescribe them for me. "

" Anti-depressants brought out mania in me, so maybe you need to discuss this with your p.doc. "
