I'm so sick of the ups and downs. I can go to work all day and pretty much have it together. Then I'm crying on the way home from all the stress of the day. Dreading all the things i have to do when I go home. I'm on lamictal which is helping some. I drink alcohol on top of it which makes the mood swings terrible afterwards. I've tried zanax for anxiety and that didn't do it. If i'm not busy enough at work I start a downhill spiral. I just want it to subside really end. I'm having a really hard time coping!!!!

" (((Amber))))~~

Oh I know that rollercoaster well. I think the desperation of wanting so badly for the situation to improve is the worst. Pre-diagnosis I hit the bottle too. Not good. Who is on your support team (besides us here at DS! :) )? "

" Sounds like you need your meds tweaked. You should NOT be having a rollercoaster ride every day if they're working properly.
Tell pdoc. Sometimes it takes a while to get the right combo/dosage of meds, but it's worth it. "

" Wonder if you are rapid cycling. OTOH I can't tell since I'm not an MH professional and I don't personally know you. I do know you sound like you are really emotionally suffering and that is not good. Is there someone , professional , family, friend, any combination for you? "
