Dad's girlfriend

In october 2009 i lost my mother. by april of 2010 my dad had already started dating again. I am having a really hard time trying to accept her. my parents were together for 23 years. his girl friend reminds me to much of my mom. A year later now my dad ask her to move in as im moving out. i dont know how to feel. she is a very nice lady and we get along but its just to weird to have another woman living in my mothers dream home. help and advice please :/

If you feel comfortable doing so, maybe try talking to your mother about it. I don't mean have a seance or anything, but just think about what she might want, and what she might advise you to do, if she could.
Again, only if you're comfortable doing this, but it might be a good idea to either talk to your dad or his girlfriend about this too. I'm sure they would completely understand why you're feeling the way you are, it's so difficult to deal with what you're being asked to deal with. But just remember, it's your dad's girlfriend isn't going to replace your mom, and your mom will not be forgotten. But it's a good thing for you all to move on with your lives, and do whatever makes you happy.
