After almost 2 yrs I still feel like I am still sitting in the room with the officers there getting told that he was gone. My first true love had been killed in a hit and run accident. I had no idea. At 1st I couldnt do anything couldnt move, but didnt want to be still. Couldnt talk, but wanted to scream. I am so hurt that he is not here. I miss him so much. I just want to stay in bed and cry, I dont want to it to true. I want him to call or come walking through the door. Everyday it is like he slips away from me. I just dont know where to turn. I feel like something is wrong with me because i still want to cry myself to sleep at night because i miss him after all this time. will it ever get better?

I am so sorry for your loss! It has been over 2 years since I lost my beloved Mom! She was all the family I had. We will miss our loved ones forever, until we take our last breath ourselves. The pain lessens but does not go away! (HUGS) Kristina

Hi cassandrasbh. I'm so sorry for the los you have experienced. Our lives are changed forever when we lose people close to us. I hope soon you can begin remembering the good times and try to get your life moving again. Maybe a discussion with your doctor about your grief might be in order. You could possibly be depressed and talking to your doctor might help with some decisions to help you put your life back together.
I am thinking about you and send my prayers to you too. Best of luck.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It has been 1 year and 1 mo, since I lost my mom. And I too keep replaying the phone call from the police, say there was an accident. I remember laying on the floor pounding the door and screaming ... not my mom... not my mom...
Knowing the holidays are coming up , I think have trigged this memory coming forward . I wish there was to fast forward through November and December. It is ok to cry , does not matter the length of time that our love one has been gone. Hugs, Deb
