Happy 4th of July!! Today also marks the 70th anniversary of Lou Gehrig's famous speech at Yankee stadium. MLB teams across the country are honoring him & supporting the fight against ALS today by wearing a patch on their uniform, "4ALS." They have had an ongoing campaign to raise money for research & are still accepting donations. Watch a MLB game today, especially the Yankees, and you'll see the number/ website to use to donate.

I wanted you to know that you REALLY express yourself well! Your dad couldn't be more proud.
I lost my dad 10 years ago and I still think of him every day. You and I are so lucky to have had WONDERFUL fathers. The lessons and love that they have passed down to us will affect us forever... I still think 'What would dad do?'. Love, JK

als is a terrible diseas, my best friends dad passed away from it all with in a year. There has to be a cure someway or somehow.
