I am mourning the loss of my mother now (3) months and (3)weeks. The pain sometime is so great and in those moments of grief I try to remember that mom is no longer suffering and struggling to breathe. Though I miss my mom terribly, I am so grateful for the time I had her with me on earth. Since mom has passed to the other side, she has tried to contact me and assure me that all is well in so many ways. I have seen her messenger (the red cardinal), I have had vivid dreams of seeing mom, I have heard her voice in my dreams and she has sent her brother and brother-in-law to me in my dreams - always to let me know she was okay. The reason I believe that mom sent my uncles to me is because the dreams were so vivid of them and they appeared much younger than when they passed. I can't remember what the message was in my uncle dream, but the feeling attached to it was joy. I am grateful for the joy mom is sending me in the midst of my grief and pain.

you are fortunate to be reassured that way I was in too much pain to want to look around and notice joy that my family was in a better place but thats an extordinary way to get through your grief

Yes dear, that is one way messages come to you. I have always been struck by how well and young people look. Sometimes we see things, other times we hear things, or even smell a familiar purfume....It has so many expressions. I am always grateful to know that all is well. If you have ever had a near death experience, then you will know forever exactly what death is, and will lose all fear of it. Yes, you still miss your loved ones, but there is a great feeling of peace when you have been assured that all is well

I have had the vivid dreams too.
Last night I dreamed that I saw our kitty and called her. She meowed and ran toward me, then from around a corner my Michael came with her. He said "Look Sammy, there's your momma" Then he said hi to me and smiled. He was walking toward me, reaching out with open arms, his eyes full of happiness. I woke up before he reached me. I felt so happy to have seen him. Miss him so much.

Thats wonderful that your Mom has connected with you. I wish my grieving was like that. I even shout at my husband to please show a sign to let me know he's alright.
I recently dreamed of my husband and he was putting his key in the front door but he looked how he looked 30 years ago. It came and went in a flash and it did me comfort but still waiting for more. I hope you continue to get that reassurance. (((((((HUGS)))))))

I am very grateful for the signs mom has sent me. I hope each and everyone of you will get a sign from your loved one before long. I hope I can continuing accepting that mom is on her journey and I am on mine and one day our spirit paths will cross and reunite in Heaven. But the worldly earthling ME really misses mom and wishes I could have her back now.
