3 Years ago she died from breast and colon cancer. I was 31 and she was only 49. I hope to get in touch with some people who understand loss like this. As I've read many of your stories I see that you do. Anyone interested in talking?

" l too lost my mom and my best friend April 7 of this year. I am beside myself with grief and trying to find away to pick up the pieces. I am 46 and she was 62. She was the one person in my life that always had my back and never disappointed me. She had COPD and empheysmia which was her slow death, although, she had had breast cancer she overcame it but the radiation had killed more of her lung thus her COPD advanced. I could never put into words how much my life is empty without her. So I can say this is the hardeset thing by far I have ever endured "

" My name is Wendy btw. I do know what you're going through and I hate to say it but it will get better with time. I am so very sorry for your loss. My mom too always had my back and never disappointed me although I did her sometimes. I can hardly type through my tears reading your story. I remember 3 months after my mom passed and it's so tough. Do you go to any groups? I live in Chicago and am trying to find a group meeting to go to, finally after 3 years. And are you ok? "

" My heart goes out to you. To loose a mother is always VERY hard. Do remember that she cannot be seen, but she does see and hear you. Speak to her.(((Soft hugs))) "

" I am with you all...I lost my mom and the best friend in my life (even to this day) in 2004 It seemed as though I really had to redefine myself...I mean I had to learn to be just me without her.
I have managed, but recently I have noticed that I am a very dim likness to the person I was when she was alive.
I am now aware and trying to become more of who I used to be.
My thoughts and prayers are with you "

" I lost my mom in 07' and it still feels like yesterday sometimes. When you said you felt like your a dim likeness to the person you were before you lost her, I couldn't understand more completely. I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you as well. Thank you for taking the time to tell me your story. If you ever want to talk more I'll be here.

Sincerely,
Wendy "
