The Curtain parted,
Held aside by your hand
And I saw paradise
Where time seems to stand.
Incandescent flowers alight from within
For there is no source of light
Where nothing dies and all things live.
Colours I have never seen but thought I have
Known
Were now no longer hidden where all things are shown.
Even the water was crystal and clear,
Birds in their majesty sang full throated and near
The Lion and the lamb lay at peace in the light
Butterflies halted in fullness of flight
To sit on our hands, wings outstretched to show
The beauty of their creation – there are no words to say
“That is beautiful” or “Don’t go away”
For there is no parting in paradise,
No tears falling down a face, no need to weep,
For all is restored with so much more…
If only you could know, all that is in store.
Your tears would stop mid flow,
If you could see what I was shown……
And then dear heart, you spoke to me:
Return to earth until you are called again;
Your time is not now, you cannot remain.
Your work is unfinished more needs to be done –
But you day is coming when you come home.
It is then that we shall ever be,
Joined throughout eternity.
This was shown to remind you on earth
Where you were before your birth
And to where you shall come back again
When no longer bound by earthly chain.
