My 5 year old son has had bell's palsy twice and I always strongly suspected that it affected his taste buds.He has had a very limited diet ever since he got sick and is currently in feeding therapy. He is unable to tell me why he doesn't want to eat and we have tried everything. It has been two years since his last episode and I wonder how long these feeding problems will continue.
May I ask if you have any lingering pain or trouble chewing and swallowing left from your BP?
